DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN QUITO - A representative will be waiting at the international Airport for your meet and greet and will transfer you to the selected hotel in Quito.
DAY 2: CITY TOUR & MIDDLE OF THE WORLD MONUMENT - After breakfast, you will be transported back in time a couple of hundred years while driving around the colonial section of Quito. Your English speaking Guide will explain you the history of different architectural monuments like the Basilica church, Independence Square, with the Presidential Palace and the colonial Churches. Furthermore you will learn how to do Quesadillas a delicious dessert, typical of Quito and you will take home the secret recipe before you drive up to “Ichimbia” Hill to have a spectacular view of Quito. After lunch your city tour ends, with a visit of the monument that divides the Northern Hemisphere from the Southern Hemisphere. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. Overnight at Hotel in Quito. Breakfast and lunch included.
DAY 3: QUITO - AMAZONIA - CUYABENO NATIONAL PARK - In the morning you will be brought to the airport and fly to Lago Agrio the biggest city in midst of the rainforest of Ecuador. Upon arrival, your transfer will be waiting for you and it goes on a two hour journey to the entrance of the Cuyabeno River and the national park. After registering yourself in the Park Rangers office and paying the entrance fee ($ 15) your Naturalist Guide will give you information about the Reserve, important recommendations and other tips before beginng the two hours navigation on the Cuyabeno River to reach your Lodge. Overnight at the selected Lodge in Cuyabeno National Park. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
DAY 4: CUYABENO NATIONAL PARK - After breakfast we will take a hiking tour in the primary forest for 3 to 4 hours, where your guide will explain how the complex tropical ecosystem works. You will be able to learn about medicinal plants and might be able to see some exotic birds or monkeys. We will then return to the camp for lunch and a siesta. In the afternoon, we will go piranha fishing, have a swim in the lagoon and watch the sunset. With a little luck you can observe the pink river dolphins or an anaconda sunbathing in a tree. You will return to the camp for dinner, and take a canoe night ride to look for caimans. Overnight at the selected Lodge in Cuyabeno National Park. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
DAY 5: CUYABENO NATIONAL PARK - QUITO - Before your trip takes you back to Quito today you can book an early morning bird watching tour. After breakfast you will travel back the Cuyabeno River and Lago Agrio where you will take your flight back to Quito. At arrival in Quito you will transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel in Quito. Breakfast and lunch included.
DAY 6: QUITO - GALAPAGOS (Santa Cruz Island) - CHARLES DARWIN STATION – After Breakfast you will brought to the airport to take your flight to Baltra the international Airport on the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival meet and greet with your guide and transfer to the Santa Cruz Island where you will visit the Charles Darwin Station. Visitors learn about natural history, issues concerning the islands, and see the tortoise breeding project at work. Overnight at the selected hotel in Santa Cruz Island. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
DAY 7: VISIT FLOREANA ISLAND - After breakfast you take a speed boat to Floreana Islands. The first activity of the day is an exciting snorkeling tour leading you to Champion Bay and Endervy Islet. After enjoying the diversity of marine wildlife your day tour takes you to Puerto Velasco Ibarra for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Floreana highlands and the caves that were used by the pirates years ago. Afterwards return to Puerto Ayora. Overnight at the selected hotel in Santa Cruz Island. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
DAY 8: VISIT ISABELA ISLAND - Today you will take a 2 hour boat to the island of Isabela and visit the “Tintoreras” where you will have a second opportunity to enjoy a snorkeling tour. In the afternoon you will visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and you will have time to make some pictures of the“Love beach” and the flamingos. Afterwards return to Santa Cruz Island. Overnight at the selected hotel in Santa Cruz Island. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
DAY 9: GEMELOS - GUAYAQUIL - After having breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Guayaquil. On the way you will make the last stop to visit the twin pit craters “Los Gemelos” a geologic collapse in the middle of the forest “Escalecias” where you will observe endemic vegetation. Connect flight in Quito to return to the USA.

Cuyabeno National Park
Located inside the Cuyabeno Ecological Reserve, full of wildlife and high biodiversity, Jamu Lodge offers outdoor activities, such as bird watching, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and canoeing. All meals are included. The rooms in Jamu Lodge feature private bathrooms and garden views. Jamu Lodge has a restaurant and the accommodations consist of 9 wooden cabins, built in a traditional, rustic style with thatched-roofs and elevated walk-ways. Six of our cabañas are divided into two bedrooms each with two beds and its own private bathroom and shower with hot water. One large cabaña hosts 4 rooms (up to 5 people per room) with space for 20 people in total. In our two-story cabaña you will find our spacious dining area and hammock lounge.
